Fabio Weik

FABIO WEIK

(Milano, 1984)
Graffiti Writer since 1997, Fabio Weik’s work reflects the current historical and social context, and our relationship with media and television. His production ranges from interventions in metropolitan areas to public and private spaces, canvases and haute couture. In his works – paintings, videos and site-specific installations – Weik uses popular symbols and icons, playing on the conflictuality of the subjects represented. The use of unconventional materials such as acid, glass, dust, plaster and common objects as well as experimental techniques trigger a process of identification and reflection on the themes of the work.
