Pietro Lista… tra le nuvole

Galleria Paola Verrengia is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition Pietro Lista… tra le nuvole, curated by Renata Caragliano.
The work of the artist Pietro Lista, who has enjoyed a long and important career exhibiting in Italy and abroad, has been characterized since the late 1960s by a wide variety of themes and a continuous experimentation with techniques and materials ranging from painting and drawing to sculpture, engraving and performance. Among the experiences that marked the early stages of his career, one of the most notable was his participation in October 1968 in the renowned exhibition ‘Arte povera più azioni povere’, organised by Marcello Rumma, an intellectual and collector from Salerno, and curated by the critic Germano Celant. In the Antichi Arsenali in Amalfi, Lista realised a nocturnal performance entitled La scoperta della luce.
