For the fifth annual “Giornata del Contemporaneo” presented by AMACI – (Associazione dei Musei d’Arte Contemporanea Italiani), a non profit organization that supports 24 of the most important contemporary art museums in Italy, Galleria Paola Verrengia presents Saturday 3rd October at 7 p.m. a performance titled Lotus Flower from the Neapolitan artist Rosy Rox. This performance by Rosy Rox evokes the symbolism of the Lotus Flower, the birth of beauty from obscurity. Across a symbolic course from darkness into light, checking on the twin blade of beauty, in its contradictions and double aspects; the artist emerges from the corruption of our time with a desire to elevate herself.
